Summer fun and what to do this weekend

Warning: we have entered the season of 75 fun things to do every weekend all over our region!  This is a super-lengthy post with tons of info…get your calendars ready…

I will be rolling out my “Summer Fun” calendar this weekend.  It has daily activities to keep us all cool and busy.  Hopefully I’ll see some of you!  For a few of the adult events, I’ll be sending out an invitation via FB.  Be sure to like my FB page for the latest happenings.  I already sent one invite out today for our June 19th Momtourage Night Out at Aji Japanese Bistro in EDH.  Please RSVP here.  Feel free to add your friends to any FB invites.  The more the merrier!

I have re-vamped the Calendar page, check it out!  I added a ton of new events in all the surrounding cities and added city abbreviations to the beginning of each calendar item.  I hope this system will help you better find what you are looking for.  I’m always looking to improve how this info is given to you, so if you have any feedback…don’t be shy.  (mamamomtourage@gmail {dot} com)

Here’s how you crack the city codes on the calendar page:

  • CP – Cameron Park
  • EDH – El Dorado Hills
  • EG – Elk Grove
  • FSM – Folsom
  • PLCV – Placerville
  • RC – Rancho Cordova
  • RKL – Rocklin
  • RSVL – Roseville
  • SAC – Sacramento

Concert in the Park Schedule

There are a ton of concerts in the park all over the region.  Basically Sun-Tues are the only days there may not be a live band playing outside somewhere.  Ahh, the beauty of summer!

Be sure to check my calendar page for a listing of the bands playing each venue each week.

El Dorado Hills (EDH)
  • ThursdaysLive on the Boulevard weekly concert series in Town Center 6:30-8:30pm (Starting June 19th).
  • Fridays – Concert in the park at EDH Community Park – This year there are only three due to the grass project at the park – Aug. 22nd from 5-7pm, Sept 5th from 5-7pm, and SATURDAY, Sept. 20 from 5-9pm.  This is such a bummer that there are only these three concerts.  This venue has been my favorite because there is a ton of space, they allow pop-ups, and there are tons of things for the kids to do.
